Summer Reading

Trace got home from Falls Creek camp with the church on Saturday! The next week, he and Marci went to Hope to spend a week with grandparents. Marci got to go to kid's college at UACCH for the week! She enjoyed it a lot after getting over being homesick. ;). She got to go swimming at Belle Lewallen's home, after being treated to McDonalds by Mrs Pam!
The kids both returned home on Thursday evening. I got to hear all the stories of the week and see all the crafts Marci had gotten to make. We played "Scene it Jr" and I decided to curl up with a book around bedtime. In a few minutes, Marci crawled up beside me with her new book "Ramina Quimby Age 8"...and a few minutes later, Trace crawled up beside us with his summer reading material for his pre-AP summer reading assignment for 9th grade "The Secret Life of Bees".
