James "Jamie" Samuels Jr

We lost my 2nd cousin, Jamie Samuels, on May 31 due to the extent of injuries from a motorcycle accident that happened last week. He was wearing a helmet and a thick coat but it just wasn't enough to help protect him from the extent of the accident. He was only 22 years old.... Was a husband and a father to a little boy...And Will be missed by many.
The silver lining, if I may, is that he was an organ donor. I'm a huge advocate of organ donation and am so glad that he had chosen that route. Since he did, he was heroic in the fact that he saved FIVE lives by donating his organs. A man in Texas received his heart yesterday. As sad as we are to have lost Jamie, I can only imagine the happiness of answered prayers of the recipients of the organs!

Please lift our family up in prayer. Thank you.

    Praying for your family. Such a tragic accident and to such a young guy. My mom's organs were donated as well... it put smiles to our faces to know that she was able to save lives even after she was gone.
