Our children’s ministry at Heritage Church, Texarkana, is called “Elevate”. It is led by Mrs. Tonya Byrd…she has a heart for children and ministry…and does a wonderful job coordinating our program. This year we had a Christmas party for the children…they listened to the Christmas Story, made gingerbread houses, crafts and ate popcorn while watching a movie. They had fun!!
p.s. I have a brand new appreciation for our custodian and for the clean-up crew at the local theatres. Vacuuming up popcorn…is for the birds!! LOL
