Paige’s Over the Rainbow 2nd Birthday

 

Paige loves “color colors”, so we decided on a Rainbow Theme Party for her 2nd birthday!

We dressed Dora in her Rain gear since we had rain the morning of the party and had to change plans…moved the party from the outside play area to our house.  After all…you do have to have RAIN to make a Rainbow

My mom made the pom poms…added a lot of color to the party!

and Again, Marci added some creativity to the party by writing a welcoming message to our party guests!

Thank GOD for Grandparents!! After all, it takes a village!!

the ONLY thing that Amy told me was to NOT let anyone eat the rainbow b/c she had used super glue for the pieces to stick together….and what did Paige do? You see how oblivious I am? and how “IN CONTROL” Marci is?? What would I do without her? LOL

We went to FBC Moores Lane for their fall fest with Kemily and Eric Estes and sweet little Chandler!!  Paige was so excited about her candy that she ate THROUGH the paper to get to it!! LOL

Marci wanted to be Marcia Brady…so her 60’s Dancing Queen costume doubled as a brown-headed Marcia

PGHS Homecoming 2012

 

Trace asked Megan Stanfill to the Homecoming Dance by means of this fun Cookie Cake.  We met up with her family at Gusano’s Pizzeria after church one Sunday…and for dessert, Trace brought out the cookie cake!  Megan was surprised…and of course said YES   The planning began at that point…. which is no easy feat! But in the end…they had a blast!

 

This will be a Homecoming that we will never forget…Paige ate a sour skittle, gagged, and threw up in the bleachers.   Needless to say that the game was cut short on our end.  Yuck!

We got to Albertsons to pick up Megan’s “nose gay” arrangement…well…it had not been made…so we patiently waited on her to make it.  Good thing we allowed ourselves plenty of extra time!!

We picked Megan up and our families went to Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner.  Trace and Megan got their own table…but I did manage to sneak over for ONE…or two pictures   What a dessert, eh?

Thanks to my friend Molly who also has a daughter named Paige...we got this precious hand me down shirt!! Sooo cute!!!

Happy BDay Bryson

We traveled to Bentonville, Ar on a quick trip to celebrate our nephew Bryson's 2nd birthday. He had a HUGE inflatable that everyone had fun with...even Grandmom ;)

Paige loved the cupcake...or shall i say the icing?!!! ;). Good thing she got a nap in before the party...bc she was so wired AFTER the party...sugar rush! Lol

I regret I didn't get a picture of Miss Mattie McNeil Woodruff to include in this post :( but we made a quick stop by to meet her as we were leaving town!! And she is a doll!!!!!

Bright Images Photography

Several months back I submitted a vacation picture on a Facebook contest that was sponsored by Bright Images.....and I WON!!! Yippee!! So exciting!! I've known Mandy Bright since high school and have watched her turn into an incredible photographer..so I was super excited to see what kind of creativity she could use with my kiddos ;). She had a chalkboard wall and my brain went wild with ideas...and Mandy did a great job executing my thoughts into making them reality!!

Her picture was even featured on Stinkin' Cute Designs Facebook wall!! Shea has been a part of making Paige's birthday shirt both years!! She asked if she could use a pic on her wall of Paige...and of course I obliged! ;)
