Trent's Surprise 40th Birthday Party!

My brother, Trent, turned 40 on Oct 2, 2011!! :)  My sister-in-law, Kyleigh, wanted to surprise him with a party!  So...the plans began! Razorback theme...time, date, place all chosen.  Plans were well in the way when a few *minor things came up...like um...moving their family of 8 across town...and plans of opening their new "Jump City" inflatable party business.  Talk about a little stress! But, they all held it together...and the party came to be!  My mom did all the food and decor...she out did herself...as you'll see by the pictures!  Trent was very surprised!  The whole family did a great job keeping the secret! :)

Mom made the Pom Poms too!

Several years ago, mom gathered our baby pictures and made Trent and I a scrapbook of our lives.  It's something we cherish!  Our parents provided us with so many wonderful things in life and it's so nice to have pictures to help us remember those special memories!

Mamaw Jerry has had this tupperware container for many years!! and...let me tell  you many delicious treats have been stored in it!  I thought it was cute that she taped it all up with masking tape and labeled it "Trent's Birthday"! :)

Mamaw also made some of her special "Naomi tea".    She got tickled that Jamie gave her a little swig...I wasn't quite as tickled! :)  (especially since Paige was wired at 11:30 pm... coincidence??)

...and here are :mamaw's cookies!

Pop's made his special "Wings"

Sleepover!

Marci invited Allie Forand and Madilyn Morse over to spend the night!  We went to the Lauterbach's house for a cookout tonight...and then loaded up for the sleepover!  These girls are so sweet and love to play together!!  Paige fit right in with the big girls too :)
snug as 3 bugs in a rug ;)

Paige, just as all kids are, is obsessed with the remote!

10 1/2 mos:  *She is STANDING on her own...from a sitting position...just hops right up.  Oh...it won't be long now!  Where did my 7 lb 7 oz baby go?!
*She has learned to take her bow out of her hair and she laughs about it!!
*When we laugh, she laughs...hey...laughter IS contagious!
*She points to the light when asked "where is the light?"  Her little wheels are turning! :)

Glow in the Dark!

Trace invited Tyler Bewley over to spend the night last weekend.  They had originally planned on going to the school dance, but changed their minds at the last minute.  I honestly think they had more fun here than they would've at the dance anyways. ;) I picked them up from school and they wanted to go to the Dollar Tree to stock up on a few items...the main things were glow sticks and tape...I thought it was odd...but I went with it.  When dusk came, they started activating their glow sticks and taping them all over their bodies.  I have to admit, it looked awesome once they were done.  I drove them and their airsoft guns and gear down to an empty field.  They saw glowing eyes...shot at it...and the "what we think to be a raccoon" darted toward them and they took off RUNNING toward the car.  At that point they were convinced they'd had enough airsoft fun for the evening! LOL  These boys were fun fun fun..and FUNNY! :)

Fun @ Grandmom and Pawpaws!

Jamie and his dad have been in the process of renovating a 1967 Chevelle.  This process started years ago...and has been slow going.  The before pictures are actual "film" pictures, if that tells you anything.  I need to get them in digital, so that I can post them, along with the newer pictures. It is cherry red and a beauty!! They've worked really hard on it!  Anywho...last Sunday we went along for the ride, to Grandmom and Pawpaw's(aka Bobby and Virginia's), after church, so that we could visit too.  Alli and her friend, Melissa came to visit that day also!  The kids love to ride around on Pawpaw's Rhino!! Pawpaw even had Beagle puppies this trip...Marci fell in love and begged to bring one home.  I remember Trace doing the same thing, when he was Marci's age...begging for one of Pawpaw's Beagle pups.  We slipped away withOUT a puppy...but we have pictures to remind us! :)
